Sorry for the lack of being around lately.
We did make our trip to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles last week. It was such an encouraging trip, and we came home truly confident that we have found the right place where my transplant, if it will happen at all, will happen.
After 4 years, I cannot express how we needed this.
Unfortunately, because of all the travel to LA and the dialysis adjustments to get us on the road, I have been lacking in dialysis for the last 2 weeks. IN short, the toxins and fluid overloads are winning right now, so sitting down to document everything is beyond me at the moment.
I hope to get you all back to speed this week, but in the meantime:
If you had offered to be tested as a living donor and are still willing to be tested at Cedars- please email me at jkbach(at)comcast.net.
Just prior to our trip my laptop, which had all of your contact info in a folder, died. I have yet to be able to get the data transferred to this machine yet to contact you..
Thank you again for all of your email and other support. It means the world to know that after 4 years of this, y'all are still standing with us on this journey.
Loved you. I will be back. Soon.
